The Rural Health Opportunities Scholarship is designed to support students who are passionate about pursuing careers in healthcare while serving rural communities. This scholarship often provides academic support, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that help prepare students for future careers in health-related fields where they are greatly needed.
There are limited spots, and a student has to meet competitive criteria to apply, be selected to interview, and then the awards are given.
For Kailee to receive interviews at all three colleges is amazing, but to be awarded scholarships from all three speaks volumes to Kailee's dedication, hard work, and commitment to making a difference. We can’t wait to see the impact she will make in the future and all the amazing things she will accomplish! Congrats Kailee!

Coach Mackey will speak to our students during an assembly from 8:15 am to 8:45 am, challenging them to think differently about leadership, influence, and the choices they make every day. His message focuses on leading with character, building trust, and understanding the impact our students can have—right now, not someday.
Following the assembly, Coach Mackey will continue our year-long leadership development seminar by working directly with a group of high school student leaders. These students will dive deeper into what it means to lead themselves well, influence their peers positively, and help shape a strong, connected campus culture.
We’re grateful for opportunities like this to intentionally invest in the growth of our students—on and off the field, and in and out of the classroom.
