Reminders for Pleasanton High School Athletes!
IMPORTANT DATES:
Monday, August 3rd, (7:00 am or 8:00 am): ImPACT Testing
Thursday, August 6th, (6:30 pm): Fall Sports Parent & Player Meeting
Monday, August 10th: Start of Fall Sports Practice
Wednesday, August 19th: First Day of School!
We are excited for the 2026-2027 activity season! Students must have a sports physical and NSAA Consent Form completed and turned in to the office, and ImPACT Concussion Test completed before the first practice. Practice begins on Monday, August 10th for high school athletes.
Sports Physical: All students in grades 7-12 who are participating in athletics, cheer, or dance, must complete a sports physical, dated after May 1, 2026, and turn it in before they are allowed to practice. Sports physicals may be turned in at the Parent & Player meeting on August 6 or to the main office at Pleasanton Public Schools.
ImPACT Concussion Test: Pleasanton Public Schools requires all students participating in sports to complete the ImPACT baseline concussion test. Testing will be held on Monday, August 3, in the library during one of two sessions: 7:00 am or 8:00 am.
NSAA Consent Form: Any student participating in an NSAA activity must have a completed NSAA Consent Form submitted to the office before they can practice. The consent form can be found on the school website by clicking on Parent Links. Completed forms may be turned in at the Parent & Player meeting on August 6 or to the main office before practices begin.
Activity Fee: Students in grades 7-12 who participate in any extracurricular activity will be required to pay a $25 activity fee. The Student Activity Fee is established to support the wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities available to students at Pleasanton Public Schools. These include, but are not limited to, athletics, fine arts, academic clubs, student organizations, and school-sponsored events. Fees help cover costs associated with transportation, officials, entry fees, equipment, and other essential activity expenses.

Reminders for Pleasanton Junior High Students!
We are excited for the 2026-2027 Junior High sports season! All junior high students need to have a sports physical and NSAA Consent Form completed and turned in to the office, and the ImPACT Concussion Test completed before the first practice. Junior High sports will start on the first day of school.

If your student is an incoming 7th grader and has already completed a Physical Examination with a section for athletic participation, a separate sports physical is not required.

REMINDER: All students entering the grades below need updated Immunizations and/or Health Physicals, in addition to a Birth Certificate on file before the first day of school. Documentation can be dropped off at the office or sent via email to office@pleasantonbulldogs.org.

REMINDER: Junior High: Summer weights will be held on Thursday, July 23, at 8:00 AM.

REMINDER: Pleasanton Bulldogs Activities Golf Scramble
There is still time to get your team together and hit the course, become a sponsor, or donate a prize to support our school activities! We are hosting a 4-Person Golf Scramble and want to see you there.
- When: August 8, 2026
- Where: The Greens at Prairie Hills
- Time: Registration starts at 8:30 AM | Shotgun start at 9:30 AM
- Cost: $400 per team (Includes 18 holes, cart, and flag prizes!)
- NOTE: Participants must be 21 or older.

📢 Important Summer Schedule Updates & Changes
Please note the following changes for the remainder of this week and next week:
Front Entrance Closed: The front entrance will be closed for the rest of this week due to a crane on-site. If you need to access the office, please call ahead, and we will direct you to the appropriate entrance.
Childcare Location Change: Childcare will be held in the Wrestling Room for the remainder of this week. Please enter through the Weight Room doors.
High School Weights: There will be no High School Weights on Wednesday. Instead, High School Weights will be held on Friday.
Junior High Weights: Junior High Weights will still be held on Wednesday as scheduled.
***Wednesday, July 15: The school will be closed due to a scheduled power outage. The only activities taking place will be morning Senior High and Junior High Weights. Childcare will be closed this day. ***

Incoming Kindergarten & 7th Grade Parents & New Students from Out of State:
Please note that an updated Physical Examination Form has been posted on our website for you to provide to your child's healthcare provider at their appointment. If you have already submitted a physical form to the school office following your child's appointment, no further action is needed—we will continue to accept those forms.
All incoming Kindergarten and 7th Grade students, as well as students transferring from out of state, are required to complete a physical examination before the first day of the school year. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
